I’ve had an email account that hasn’t changed for about 10 years, matt@funkcat.com. That account got picked up my many email harvesters for years and I have since used it as a spam collector to train bayesian filters. On March 7th of this year I took the spam filter off and let it just collect mail.

I just remembered that I did that.

I have 38,878 messages in my inbox.

This has got to be close to the record of most spam collected by a single email account. Maybe not. That’s about 13,000 spam emails per month. Has anyone beaten this?
